So I’m back.  After 73 hours on a train, 6 days in a car, and 16 states, I am back in my homeland of New York.  The trip was indescribable, despite my efforts to account for its awesomeness here on the blog.

After a hefty 32 hour train ride from Denver, CO to Emeryville, CA, I was very pleased to pull into the station. For several reasons:
