I’m officially over Ecto. I’ve heard great things about it from other blogs, but it’s given me many a hard time. Ecto keeps eating my posts, which is why you may have seen not one, but TWO half-assed posts today. If they seemed lame and boring, they were.
What do you other bloggers use? I don’t really dig WordPress either; it’s so slow and uploading photos takes half a night! I really need some tips here — any advice??

I feel your pain. I’ve had to shuffle around blogs because of Blogger changing how they support things and ended up moving my own blog to Tumblr. Tumblr comes up a lot in my Twitter feed and Google Reader but in my two or three days using it is SLOW. And I’m not uploading any photos. I hate to say it, but I feel like there isn’t a good solution! You either have to deal with a company like Blogger, Word Press, etc and need to upload your content to them and wait for their slowness, or do it all yourself which is time consuming, hard, and in the end, you’ll still have to upload to their servers.
Let me know if you find anything better- from what I can tell WordPress might be one of the better ones out there :-\
