Buttercream Frosting

  • 1/2 cup shortening
  • 3/4 stick softened butter

Cream these together.  Add in:

  • 1/2 t. vanilla
  • 2 T. milk

Slowly add in:

  • 4 cups powdered sugar

Mix together until well-blended.  Makes 3 cups of frosting.  Use dye to create different colors!
